takiko? a mary-sue? are we reading the same manga? she is prideful to a fault, is needy (hello the entire reason why she even went back inside the book was because she wanted to be in a world where people NEED her), and selfish jesus christ
and if she were a mary sue then the entire freaking manga would have ended because tegu would have listened to her pleas at the very beginning instead of continuing on his own thing for his brother and there the end ugh just because she doesn`t react to things on a more emotional level (probably another flaw of hers is because she isn`t very good at perceiving emotions at all) doesn`t mean that she`s flawless or anything? i mean she`s older than the other priestesses which i hope implies some sort of maturity and ability to handle situations in a more rational fashion and ugh fandom sometimes
