My Tearjerker Fushigi Yuugi Moment #3: And I guess I’ve got to say that this moment brought me to tears the most. Inasmuch as I know that Nuriko’s death is an important part in the development of the plot (I mean, Tamahome and Miaka won’t face those petty love problems if Nuriko was alive), I still can’t deny the fact that I’m such a Nuriko fanatic, and given that, I want him alive, and I want him to be a part of that long long journey, and perhaps even ship him with Miaka at some point. Well I also have to say that I cried the most when I saw him held by Ashitare, and in the series I shouted the most when he was back through a Nyannyan. I can’t give this scene enough justice by not putting the background music.
